Snowshoes

The Snowshoe is a medium sized muscular well balanced rare bred cat Originated from America by crossing a Siamese with an American bicolour . The Snowshoes are fit agile cats with excellent need to be touched and socialise personality.

The snowshoes are sort after for their bombproof nature and beautiful blue eyes and striking coat patterns. They are very intelligent; process gentle melody voices, which they use to chatter to their human companions and they are very good with children. They have beautiful short soft, bouncy coats with unique coat patterns. You will not find two snowshoes the same; they are like pebbles on a beach with personality and looks.

Snowshoes vary in price depending on pattern and if you would like to breed, show or just have one as a pet. prices start from £400. Show neuters are from £500. Breeding females £600-£800 , Breeding males £800- £1000. Please contact me for international prices.

Different Pattern Snowshoes

All patterns can be shown, except for the colourpoint Snowshoes, who can be used in breeding programmes. To show with the GCCF all cats must have no white on their ears.

Colourpoint £400 pet price



Snowshoe with all over body colour and no white anywhere. They are very striking with Colourpoints and a lighter body coat, with no white. They resemble old fashion Siamese look. These cats cannot be shown, but can be used in breeding programme.

Harlequin (high white) £400 pet price



These kittens have vast amounts of white over one third of the body will be white with patterns of colourpoint. Some can be a dazzling white all over, which is very striking and different. They can be shown, but usually these are popular and are snapped up as striking pets.

Bicolour £450- £500 pet price



These kittens have varying degrees of white and colour in unique patterns, with up to a third of the body colour white. No two will be the same and the bicolour can vary. They will still have white feet and a coloured tail and points. They are often shown with GCCF providing they have coloured ears and white feet. They are excellent for breeding as they produce balane white kittens.

Mitted (low white) £450-£500 pet price



These kittens have colour all over with white slippers on front feet and white boots up to hocks on back legs. Sometimes with white on the chin. They are very close to the Show pattern and can be shown.

Preferred Show Pattern £550 pet price



These kittens are hard to come by or you will normally find boys displaying this pattern more. These kittens have a white "vee" on the face, with coloured ears and body with white slipper feet and white back boots. This pattern may well vary from cat to cat.
